    Education is not preparation for life; Education is life itself. John Dewey Education is a process of transformation to the finest of our thought, feelings and deed. It is to free ourselves from being ignorant, harmful and parasitic. It is to create cultured, developed and compassionate human minds with efficient working skills. Thus, our education system need to focus on Quality and Value based Education to form a peaceful society. Teachers also assigned their duties honestly.

History of the College

    Jamda Anchalika Mahavidyalaya (Degree) Talgaon is situated in a tribal dominated rural area of Jamda Block under Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. It was established in 1995 by the endeavor of some intellectuals and local people. The college obtained its first recognition from the Govt. Of Odisha in 1997-98 and also got its first affiliation in the same year from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar for imparting +3 Arts Course. It was permanently recognized by the Govt. Of Odisha and permanently affiliated to North Orissa University, Baripada. Thereafter, the college is running smoothly and it was recognised under 2 (f) and 12 (B) of UGC in 2012. The Govt. Of Odisha has also notified this college as Non-Govt. aided college as per GIA order 2008 in 2012. In order to provide better opportunity for Higher Education the college opened Honours facilities in the subjects History and Education. The intake capacity of the college in +3 Arts course increased from 64 to 128 seats in 2015 for the sake of aspirants for Higher Education.
